Tuition
Tuition for the 2009-2010 academic year is QR 72,100 (US $20,000) for non-sponsored students. These amounts are all inclusive (e.g., books, a laptop computer and necessary software,and associated fees) except for the cost of room and board. The cost also includes tuition fees for any courses you may take at another Education City university as a cross registered student during the fall and spring term. Tuition is subject to change annually and does not include the cost of summer school.
Housing Fees
Housing fees per academic year are QR 14,000 or approximately $4,000 USD.

Financial Aid
Need-based financial assistance is available to admitted students through the Qatar Foundation’s Hamad bin Khalifa Financial Aid Program. This application process requires careful and full completion of all forms, attention to deadlines, and prompt response if additional information is requested. This unique program provides students with the financial resources they need for their education. Students will be notified in writing of the results of their financial aid request by the Qatar Foundation Education Office. If aid is granted, students will, upon graduation, agree to either repay the full amount of the loan according to a repayment plan or participate in a paid service program at an approved organization in Qatar. Scholarships
Texas A&M at Qatar offers a offers a limited number of competitive one-year academic scholarships to its entering freshmen and returning students. All admitted students are automatically considered for awards, and returning students are invited to apply for scholarships each spring. Applications are reviewed by the scholarship committee and are evaluated on scholastic achievement, leadership and special circumstances. Financial need will be considered whenever sufficient scholarship funds allow for it.
