Petroleum Engineering

dots
Petroleum engineers are primarily concerned with the economic extraction of oil, gas, and other natural resources from the earth. This is accomplished through the design, drilling, and operation of wells and well systems, and the integrated management of the underground reservoirs in which the resources are found.

As a petroleum engineer, you will be involved in nearly all phases of the production process, from finding the oil through refining and distributing it. You can take advantage of the increased demand for alternative energy to innovate clean energy products that produce fewer harmful carbon emissions.
