Financial Aid — Student Loan
Non-Sponsored students admitted to Texas A&M University at Qatar are encouraged to apply for Student Financial Aid through Qatar Foundation. Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development offers need-based financial assistance to help students meet the financial obligations of their universities. Financial aid given to resident and international students through this program is in the form of loans that could cover up to a 100 percent of the annual total cost of attending any of Education City universities.

Texas A&M at Qatar Scholarships
Texas A&M at Qatar offers a limited number of competitive one-year academic scholarships to its entering freshmen and returning students. All admitted students are automatically considered for awards, and returning students are invited to apply for scholarships each spring. Applications are reviewed by the scholarship committee and are evaluated on scholastic achievement, leadership and special circumstances. Financial need will be considered whenever sufficient scholarship funds allow for it.
QF Merit-Based Scholarship
QF’s Merit-Based Scholarship Office awards a limited number of merit-based scholarships to undergraduate students enrolled at Education City branch campuses. These scholarships will reward and assist students throughout their academic careers
Student Eligibility
Full-time students who have completed at least two semesters of undergraduate study at:
- Hamad Bin Khalifa University
- Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar
- Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar
- Texas A&M University at Qatar
- Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar
- Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar
- Northwestern University in Qatar
AND have a minimum 3.6 GPA
